![]() They were finally married in 1954 and embarked on a life of ministry together. Jean found herself most inspired by her mother’s role of ministry in the home and church, and it was apparent that Jean’s one and only passion in life was to marry Wiley Clark and become a minister’s wife. ![]() However, they did continue their courtship during college – sometimes against the rules at Holmes! The two of them would often provide special music on Sunday mornings and were also featured on the Sunday radio program singing songs like “Looking for You,” or “All That Thrills My Soul Is Jesus.”īefore long, Wiley and Jean’s paths diverged as Wiley left for Holmes Bible College and Jean attended Emmanuel College. The young couple spent much of their courtship attending church activities together. ![]() They were part of a large youth group back in the fifties. ![]() Jean was fortunate to meet the young man of her dreams, Wiley Clark, when she was just a teenager in high school. ![]()
